Biodiversity of macroinvertebrates, ciliates and bacteria within Auckland streams.
Using a range of different methods, we have analysed the diversity of benthic macroinvertebrates, ciliated protozoa and bacteria within four stream sites around Auckland. These stream sites range from an almost pristine stream, surrounded by native bush in the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park, to a concrete lined stream channel in Pakuranga, East Auckland (see "our sampling sites" for more details about the sites).
